The BlueFin platform serves as a field tested microgrid controller that site managers and facilities can deploy to achieve grid-independent operations for their facilities. Refined through strategic development activities in North America and Europe over the past eight years, the BlueFin™ microgrid controller can operate in several modes including: grid-connected, islanded, high-reliability, low cost, and other customer-specific modes. BlueFin can be configured to maximize renewable contributions, minimize storage requirement, optimize generator operation and provides managers and facilities the capability to optimize onsite energy consumption, demand limits, and actively manage power factor.

Strands Energy will work with customers to identify their specific needs, design BlueFin-based microgrid solutions, configure, deploy, and commission the system.
